See Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet with space to slow down between every highlight. This full-day cruise pairs two of the Whitsundays’ signature lookout walks with generous beach time and a scenic journey around Whitsunday Island, all aboard a spacious air-conditioned catamaran with an open rooftop deck.
Move between the cool indoor lounge and the rooftop deck as the islands unfold around you. The route follows the Whitsunday Ngaro Sea Trail past the Molle Islands, Cid Harbour, Nara Inlet and Hook Passage, with live commentary adding the stories and natural history behind the scenery.
At Tongue Point, step ashore for the guided walk to Hill Inlet Lookout. From the viewing platforms, watch turquoise water weave through brilliant white silica sand, with the patterns shifting as the tide moves. It is one of the defining views of the Whitsundays and a rewarding first look at Whitehaven from above.
Whitehaven Beach changes the pace. Spend up to two hours swimming, walking the silica sand or settling into the beach shade, then join the guided walk to the southern lookout for another wide view along the coastline. Tender access back to the catamaran gives you the flexibility to cool off indoors or order a drink from the licensed bar during the beach stop.
Morning tea, a buffet lunch and afternoon tea are included, and selected Airlie Beach transfers keep the day easy from pickup to return. The vessel is scheduled to depart Shute Harbour at 9am and return at around 5pm, bringing together island scenery, two lookout walks and unhurried Whitehaven time in one comfortable full-day experience.
Everything about the trip was perfect. A perfect day, a beautiful boat, very friendly crew, lovely food. The location is stunning and regular sightings of whales. What’s not to like. The highlight of my holiday

This was the best experience for so many reasons. Great staff, great food, great price, great company. Would recommend 1000x over.
It was an amazing experience! Beautiful staff, willing to help with the best attitude! We felt very comfy from the moment we were picked up on the bus! 100% recommended!!
The day tour was amazing, our staff and facilities on board the boat were fantastic, especially Rhi and Jack. Food, morning, afternoon teas and lunch were great and plently of it. Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet were just to die for and the stinger suits were very slimming (lol). Would recommend this tour to any visitor if you are looking for a great day out.
Lovely day with lovely staff. Smooth ride (didn’t feel sea sick at all). Captain wasn’t sure if we would make Whitehaven beach due to recent storms, but very glad we stuck at it because it was a beautiful day and we were able to visit the beautiful beach. One of the highlights of my Australia trip.
Loved the lookout, info given by staff. Bush walk good and the stunning beaches. Food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
