Travel from Hobart to Launceston on a full-day tour that showcases Tasmania’s spectacular East Coast. Journey through seaside towns before arriving at Freycinet National Park. Here, take the moderate 45-minute uphill walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout for one of the most photographed views in Australia. For active walkers, continue down to Wineglass Bay Beach for time to swim, relax, and enjoy lunch on the white sands.
If you prefer a shorter option, explore Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay, and Cape Tourville Lighthouse with your guide, all part of Tasmania’s Great Short Walks. In the afternoon, regroup and travel north, stopping at Devil’s Corner Winery. Here you can enjoy a wine tasting, woodfired pizza, fresh oysters, or artisan gelato while taking in sweeping coastal views, before arriving in Launceston in the evening.
We return to Launceston around 6.00pm.
Nick was very descriptive of all parts of the trip. Scenery and stops were fantastic. Pickup was prompt. Location of pickup was easily accessible. Bring walking shoes for hikes. Bus speaker system was intermittent.
Nicholas was an excellent guide/driver he was very clear with instructions and very knowledgeable about the area! Wineglass Bay is spectacular! The views are just amazing. The National Park is beautiful! Our ride to Launceston with Graham was nice – he also was very knowledgeable about the area! It’s a great trip to do!
This tour includes pick-up from selected Hobart hotels and concludes with drop-off at selected Launceston hotels.

Needed to get to Launceston. This was the perfect trip. Enjoyed, great staff. Much better experience than with Tasmania Expeditions.
