The complete experience takes about 2.5 hours. Approximately 1.5 hours is spent riding on the water, while the remaining time covers check-in, gear fitting, the safety briefing, riding demonstration and on-water tuition. Courtesy transfer time varies according to the selected pickup location.

No. A jet ski licence and previous riding experience are not required. Your guide explains the controls, demonstrates the riding technique and provides on-water tuition before the group begins the tour. Ongoing supervision continues throughout the ride.

An average level of fitness is expected. Water conditions can range from smooth to choppy, and the movement, spray and effort required to maintain your riding position make this an active experience. The route, pace or timing may be adjusted when conditions require it.

Both options are available. Each booking is priced per jet ski, which may be ridden solo or shared by two eligible guests. The price covers the jet ski whether you ride alone or add a second passenger.

Expect to get wet during the ride. Arrive wearing swimwear and bring a towel and sunscreen. Valuable items are best left at your accommodation, or they can be placed in the secure office at Coral Sea Marina during the tour.

Yes, but courtesy transfers are only available from selected mainland Airlie Beach locations. Guests staying on Hamilton Island or another Whitsunday island need to arrange their own transport to Airlie Adventure Central at Coral Sea Marina South Village and arrive in time for check-in.

No. Airlie Adventure is often called the Turtle Tour because sea turtles are regularly encountered around Pioneer Bay. Dugongs, seabirds and seasonal humpback whales may also be seen, but sightings depend on natural wildlife movement and water conditions.
