No. This experience takes place on a purpose-built, fully covered catamaran that cruises around Pioneer Bay rather than a sailing yacht. The flat deck and open layout make it easy to move around, take photos and enjoy views from different sides of the boat.

Cloud cover can change the colour and visibility of the sunset, but the experience is about the full transition from daylight to evening. You can still enjoy Pioneer Bay, the Airlie Beach coastline, the music and the town lights appearing across the water. Every evening offers a slightly different view.

Yes. The cruise welcomes all ages, and its two-hour duration, covered flat deck and soft-drink alternative make it an easy evening activity for many families. Children and infants must be included in the booking, space for prams is limited, and there is no baby change table onboard.

No. The boat is fully licensed, so BYO drinks are not permitted. A glass of Australian sparkling wine or a soft drink is included, and additional drinks can be purchased onboard with cash or card.

No. The shared antipasto platter is a light snack rather than dinner. It typically includes items such as dips, crackers, vegetable sticks, olives and cured meat. The marina and Airlie Beach restaurants are close by if you would like to dine after the cruise.

Yes. There is one marine toilet onboard. It is not wheelchair accessible, and there is no baby change table.

The boat is moderately accessible with assistance. There is no boarding ramp, the entry is narrow and one step up is required. Space for wheelchairs and prams is limited, and the onboard toilet is not accessible.

It is a relaxed, friendly and social cruise with music, a licensed bar and space to move around. It suits couples, friends, solo travellers and families who enjoy an easy-going shared evening on the water rather than a formal dining cruise.
