Turn 30 minutes in Airlie Beach into one of the liveliest parts of your Whitsundays holiday. After checking in at Coral Sea Marina and completing a quick safety briefing, step aboard Wild Thing and head out across Pioneer Bay for a fast, spray-filled ride.
Once clear of the marina, hold on as your skipper builds speed and sends the boat through 180- and 360-degree spins, drifts, power stops and nosedives. Between each burst of action, look back towards the Airlie Beach coastline, pass the marina and waterfront homes, and take in views across the bay towards the Whitsunday Islands while your skipper mixes local commentary with plenty of humour.
Dress for the spray—getting wet is part of the fun. Lifejackets, spray glasses, spray jackets on request and secure storage for loose belongings are provided. GoPro photos from the ride are uploaded to Facebook afterwards, leaving you free to enjoy every turn without trying to hold onto a camera.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Highly Recommend! Great driver – very knowledgeable and professional, funny & great play list! One of my sons was unwell at the end of the trip, and the driver was so kind and understanding about it. We also loved the free photos provided – such a bonus! Overall, an excellent experience.
The operator Alex was fantastic making sure we all had fun
