No. A jet ski licence and previous riding experience are not required. The tour begins with a comprehensive safety briefing, riding demonstration and on-water tuition. Your guide will continue to supervise the group and provide instructions throughout the ride.

This is an active open-water experience requiring above-average fitness and confidence in changing sea conditions. Expect spray, movement and a physically demanding ride when the water is choppy. Your guide will manage the group’s pace and may adjust the route or timing to suit the conditions.

Both options are available. Each booking is priced per jet ski, and one jet ski may be ridden solo or shared by two eligible guests. Book the number of jet skis your group requires rather than the number of individual passengers.

Yes. You must be able to swim while wearing a life jacket. If you come off the jet ski, you need to be capable of swimming back to it in open water. A life jacket is provided and worn throughout the riding portion of the tour.

Expect to get wet during the ride. Arrive wearing swimwear and bring a towel and sunscreen. Life jackets and suitable riding apparel are provided. Valuable items are best left at your accommodation, or they can be placed in the secure office at Coral Sea Marina during the tour.

No. Turtles, dugongs and seabirds live throughout the Whitsundays, and humpback whales may also be seen during the winter migration season, but sightings depend on wildlife movement and sea conditions. The main experience is the guided jet ski ride, with any wildlife encounter adding an extra highlight to the day.
