A great experience. Wine tasting was educational but fun. Wineries were great and tastings of medal winning and superior wines was unexpected but really added to the enjoyable day.. Our driver was brilliant - had a great sense of humour and made sure everyone was catered for and included in the experiences of the day. I have been to winery visits in Napa Valley and Europe and can say this was the best we have been on.

We had a great day day out with Geoff as our guide. Very informative & tasted some lovely wines. Weather wasn't so good so didn't get to experience Hahndorf as well as we hoped but only due to weather. only complaint would have liked a little longer at Maggie Beer's but will return. Thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Cancellation Policy

  • Customer-requested cancellations made at least 6 days prior to travel will receive a refund of 95% of the total booking amount. The remaining 5% will be retained as a non-refundable administration and booking fee. Cancellations made within 5 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including no-shows.
  • Should supplier be required to cancel or the operation of the tour for any reason, including on the rare occasions due to inclement weather, an alternative date or itinerary will be offered to the passenger. If the alternative date or itinerary cannot be arranged or agreed upon, a full refund will be authorised. If the passenger accepts the alternative date or itinerary, no refunds will be issued.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I be picked up, and when will I know the exact time?

Pickup and drop-off are included from selected hotels in Adelaide CBD and Glenelg. Glenelg pickups begin around 8:30 am and city pickups around 9:00–9:15 am; your exact time is sent one day before the tour. Return is approximately 5:00–5:15 pm.

How many wineries will we visit?

You’ll enjoy included tastings at two hand-picked Barossa Valley wineries. The exact cellar doors may vary by day, while the tour still includes two tasting stops.

Is Hahndorf included, and what can I do there?

Yes. Hahndorf is the final stop, with free time to stroll the historic main street, browse boutiques or enjoy a German snack, coffee or drink. The exact time available can vary with the day’s schedule.

Is lunch included, and are vegetarian or vegan meals available?

Yes. A Barossa lunch is included, and vegetarian and vegan options are available. After booking, please contact us with any dietary requirements.

How long do we spend at Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop?

Plan for around 20–30 minutes at the Farm Shop. That gives you time to browse local produce, sample a few favourites and pick up a treat before continuing into the Barossa.

Can children join the tour?

Yes. Child tickets are available, so families can enjoy the sightseeing, lunch and Hahndorf together. Wine tastings are reserved for guests aged 18 and over.
