This experience is all about stepping into the Blue Mountains National Park for guided bushwalks, waterfalls, scenic lookouts and the Three Sisters. Scenic World admission is not included, making this a strong choice if you would rather spend more of the day exploring the landscape itself.

The walks are one of the most rewarding parts of the day, taking you away from the busy lookouts and closer to rainforest, waterfalls and valley scenery. Expect uneven tracks, steps and some inclines, so good mobility, comfortable enclosed shoes and a reasonable level of fitness are required.

It is a rewarding choice for active families with children aged 8 and over. Young travellers can meet native animals at the wildlife park, explore mountain scenery and enjoy time in Katoomba, but everyone should be comfortable with a longer bushwalk on uneven tracks and steps.

You will have free time in Katoomba to choose lunch from the town’s cafés, bakeries and restaurants, making it easy to find something that suits your appetite and dietary preferences. Lunch and drinks are at your own expense.

The Blue Mountains can be beautiful in mist and light rain, and the tour normally operates in changing weather. Your guide may adjust the order of stops or walking route to make the most of the day, so bring layers and a waterproof jacket alongside your walking shoes.
