The day mixes comfortable coach travel with several short walks at mountain lookouts, through the Scenic World rainforest and around Katoomba Cascades. Expect boardwalks, steps and some uneven ground rather than one long hike. Comfortable flat enclosed shoes are the best choice, and the experience is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Yes. Scenic World’s three rides, the wildlife encounters at Sydney Zoo and the included koala photo give children plenty to look forward to. It is a full day with an early start and regular walking, so it suits families whose children are comfortable with a busy sightseeing schedule.

Lunch and drinks are not included, which gives you the freedom to choose from the cafés, bakeries and casual eateries during the stop in Leura. It is a handy chance to find something that suits your appetite before the wildlife-filled afternoon continues.

The day begins with pickup from selected Sydney CBD hotels at around 6.40am. After the Blue Mountains and Sydney Zoo, the coach connects with a ferry to Circular Quay, where the tour finishes at approximately 5.30pm. From there, you can continue your evening around the harbour or make your own way back to your accommodation.
