The guided walk takes around 90 minutes to two hours and is mostly moderate, with beautiful waterfall and valley views along the way. The toughest part is about 15 minutes of steep stairs back up from the base of the falls, and you can skip that final section and wait for the group if it isn’t right for you.

A fresh locally made picnic lunch is included, usually a continental roll, sandwich or wrap. Vegetarian, vegan, coeliac, nut-free, dairy-free and other allergy-friendly options can be arranged. After booking, please contact us with any dietary requirements.

Yes. The small-group minibus usually carries around 20–25 guests, and the relaxed, social style makes it easy to enjoy the day and meet other travellers. You’ll still have time to take in the viewpoints and enjoy the walk within the guided schedule.

The tour meets at 812 George Street, Haymarket, on the George Street side of St Laurence Church near Central Station. Please arrive by 7.20am for the 7.30am departure; the tour normally returns to the same area at about 5.10–5.40pm, depending on traffic. Hotel pickups aren’t included, which leaves more time to explore the Blue Mountains.

This experience is all about spending more time in the Blue Mountains, with a guided Wentworth Falls walk, mountain viewpoints and the Three Sisters. Scenic World and wildlife park admission aren’t included, so the day stays focused on nature rather than attraction queues. Light rain or mist can give the rainforest and waterfalls a dramatic atmosphere, and the tour usually continues. Your guide may adjust the order or choice of stops to make the most of the conditions, while lookout visibility can vary. In rare severe weather, an alternative date or itinerary may be offered, or a refund if that can’t be arranged.

Enclosed walking shoes with good grip are the best choice; hiking boots aren’t essential. Dress for the mountain weather and bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. Bring a light rain jacket if showers are forecast.
