Join a small-group Blue Mountains day trip from Sydney designed for nature lovers and hikers. Travel two hours west to explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. Your guide, a passionate local, will lead you through off-the-beaten-track lookouts and iconic landmarks like the Three Sisters, while sharing the Aboriginal dreamtime story.
The highlight of your day is a 90-minute waterfall hike in Wentworth Falls town, taking you to the base of the 187m waterfall—something no other tour currently offers. If you prefer, the more challenging final section of the trail is optional.
You’ll also enjoy a locally made gourmet picnic lunch with vegetarian and dietary-friendly options. No hotel pickups mean more time in the mountains—depart at 7:30am and return by 5:30pm near Central Station.

Shannon was absolutely amazing! We started early at 7:30 with a meetup, and then came the most important question of the day: What’s for lunch? We drove to multiple lookouts and made an early morning stop in Glenbrook, where we could buy some breakfast. We did a HUGE hike at Wentworth Falls, which took roughly 1½ hours. After that exhausting—but totally worth it—experience, we had lunch, which was great! We went to Lincoln’s Rock and then made a quick extra stop before ending our day at the Three Sisters. Shannon was extremely friendly and talked to each of us throughout the whole day. On the way, we had a lovely trivia game, which ended in a close call—32 to 31—and the front of the bus won… (They won Tim Tams, but no worries—if you lose, you still get some!) The day was amazing and absolutely worth it. I’d do it again in a heartbeat and can definitely recommend it
Kieran our guide/driver was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and also funny. The weather wasn’t the best, raining for some of the trip and so foggy we couldn’t see the 3 sisters very well or Lincoln’s rock. Kieran was very good and adapted the tour to suit the conditions, hoping we would see more, but to no avail. The breakfast stop was very good and picnic lunch very tasty. Due to the amount of rain that had fallen over the previous few days, the steps to the Waterfall were quite slippy and the waterfall in full flow, but Kieran very attentive to people’s needs. Thoroughly recommend this trip.
