The boats are purpose-built for Bruny Island’s open-water coastline, and most guests enjoy the ride comfortably. The Southern Ocean can still feel lively on some days. Bring more layers than you think you’ll need, even in summer. It can feel much cooler once the boat reaches the open coast, so a warm jacket, beanie, scarf and gloves are useful. A full-length windproof and wet-weather jacket is provided to wear over your own clothing.
