Step inside the Cairns Aquarium after dark for an exclusive after-hours experience. As the sun sets over Tropical North Queensland’s mountains, the rainforest and reef lagoons come alive with nocturnal life. Reptiles, amphibians, insects, and nocturnal fish awaken, while predators such as sharks, rays, and groupers emerge from the shadows.
Led by a knowledgeable wildlife educator, this guided night tour offers a rare glimpse into the unique behaviors of the reef and rainforest creatures at dusk. Wander through the aquarium’s exhibits without the daytime crowds and discover how the ecosystems transform after sunset.
To complete your evening, you have the option to add a specially prepared three-course dinner in the aquarium’s aquatic-themed restaurant (optional). Surrounded by spectacular marine displays, this dining experience offers the perfect way to combine wildlife discovery with fine cuisine for an unforgettable night in Cairns.
