Yes. The experience is about far more than a clear-sky sunset. You can still enjoy the mangrove waterways, rainforest-covered mountains, Cairns skyline and the skipper’s local stories as the city settles into the evening. Even when clouds soften the sunset, the changing light, city views and relaxed atmosphere make this a lovely way to begin the night.

Yes. Trinity Inlet’s mangrove channels offer a genuine opportunity to spot saltwater crocodiles, sea eagles and other local wildlife. Your skipper keeps watch and points out what is happening around the boat, while the sunset, rainforest mountains and city views add even more to the experience.

This is one of Cairns’ gentler boat trips. The cruise stays within the calm, sheltered waters of Trinity Inlet rather than travelling across the open sea, with a relaxed pace and comfortable seating. It is a great option when you want time on the water without committing to a longer reef crossing.

Yes. The 90-minute length, calm water, wildlife spotting, easy commentary and onboard toilet make this a relaxed family outing without taking over the whole evening. Guests under 18 travel with a responsible adult. Children aged two and under may sit on a parent’s lap, while older children have their own seat.

Yes, for many guests with limited mobility. There is no physical activity during the cruise, and you can relax in a comfortable chair once aboard. Boarding involves a few steps, so guests using a wheelchair need to be able to transfer into a boat seat with assistance.

Yes. A toilet is available on the boat, so you can settle in comfortably for the full 90 minutes. The vessel also has comfortable seating, and additional drinks can be purchased from the licensed bar during the cruise.

Yes. The tour lasts 90 minutes and returns to Marlin Marina, placing you within an easy walk of waterfront restaurants and the Cairns CBD. It is a lovely way to begin the evening, with plenty of time to continue into dinner after the scheduled return.
