• Customer-requested cancellations made at least 6 days prior to travel will receive a refund of 95% of the total booking amount. The remaining 5% will be retained as a non-refundable administration and booking fee. Cancellations made within 5 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including no-shows.
• Should supplier be required to cancel or the operation of the tour for any reason, including on the rare occasions due to inclement weather, an alternative date or itinerary will be offered to the passenger. If the alternative date or itinerary cannot be arranged or agreed upon, a full refund will be authorised. If the passenger accepts the alternative date or itinerary, no refunds will be issued.

Pickup from selected Cairns City and Northern Beaches accommodation is included. The first Cairns collections begin at around 6.45am, and the tour usually returns to Cairns at about 6.30pm. It is a full day, allowing time for the Daintree River, rainforest, Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge.

Choose the picnic lunch option if you would like a prepared meal to enjoy near Cape Tribulation Beach. The self-catering option follows the same touring itinerary, but you will need to bring your own lunch ready before pickup because there is nowhere to buy food at the lunch stop.

The catered picnic lunch is gluten-free, and vegan, vegetarian and most food-intolerance requests can usually be accommodated. After booking, please contact us with any dietary requirements.

Yes, swimming may be available when the gorge is calm and your guide considers the conditions safe. Bring swimwear and a towel if you would like to take a refreshing dip in the clear rainforest water. You can also spend the stop relaxing among the granite boulders and enjoying the scenery.

The day includes a guided rainforest boardwalk, time on Cape Tribulation Beach and a short walk to the headland lookout. The pace suits most travellers, with regular stops throughout the day. Comfortable walking shoes are the best choice. The tour is not wheelchair accessible.

Yes. Families get a varied day with a wildlife cruise, an easy rainforest boardwalk, beach time and the chance to swim at Mossman Gorge when conditions are suitable. It is a long day of about 12 hours, so younger children should be comfortable with an early start and extended coach travel. Infants travel on an adult’s lap.

The Daintree River cruise offers a good chance to spot saltwater crocodiles, along with tropical birds, butterflies, fish and reptiles around the river and mangroves. Keep watch in the rainforest too, where cassowaries and other native wildlife are sometimes seen. Every day is different, which makes each wildlife encounter feel especially memorable.
