Join a full-day adventure from Cairns, Port Douglas, or Northern Beaches to explore the World Heritage–listed Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. After a scenic coastal drive, your first highlight is a wildlife cruise along the Daintree River. Spot saltwater crocodiles, snakes, and birdlife while learning about the importance of mangrove ecosystems to both the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.
Continue north into the ancient 135-million-year-old Gondwana Rainforest and stop at Alexandra Range Lookout for sweeping views over the Daintree River, Port Douglas, and Snapper Island. Walk the Marrdja or Jindalba Boardwalks with your guide to see prehistoric plants and unique mangrove systems before enjoying a picnic lunch at Cape Tribulation Beach — the only place on Earth where two World Heritage sites meet side by side.
After lunch, stroll along the beach and head to Mossman Gorge for a swim in crystal-clear rainforest waters or simply relax among the granite boulders and butterflies. Conclude the day with a scenic stop at Rex Lookout along the Great Barrier Reef Drive before returning to Cairns around 6:30 pm.

Our tour guide Jeremy was amazing. Very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with his stories. Lunch was awesome and water was available on the bus. The whole day was a success with amazing weather for great views, crocodile sitings on the river cruise, boardwalk at Cape Tribulation, lunch on the beach, a swim at Mossman Gorge, ice cream and even a cassowary siting on our trip home.
