Embark on a full-day adventure into the World Heritage–listed Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation aboard a comfortable 4WD vehicle. Travel along the scenic Captain Cook Highway before enjoying tea, coffee, and biscuits at the Daintree Cruise Centre. Then set off on a 1-hour Daintree River cruise, where you may spot estuarine crocodiles up to 4 meters long, as well as tropical birds and other wildlife.
Next, take a guided rainforest boardwalk tour to see ancient 900-year-old palms and learn about the plants and animals unique to this region. After a busy morning, relax over a delicious lunch before cooling off with a swim in a pristine rainforest waterhole.
Continue to Cape Tribulation Beach, where the rainforest meets the reef. Stroll along the sand or walk to the lookout for spectacular coastal views. On your return journey, stop at the famous Daintree Ice Creamery for a signature scoop of exotic tropical fruit ice cream — the perfect way to end your day before heading back to Cairns or Port Douglas.

If you’re short of time and want someone else to do the driving then this tour is for you. A well-paced day that allowed us to see a lot in a short space of time. Our guide, Graeme, was knowledgeable about the area and gave us a great day out.

A great day out to the Daintree! Pick-up and drop-off was very convenient at our hotel. We saw lots of crocs on the river cruise, and also enjoyed learning about the various plants and smaller animals of the rainforest. Our guide Andy was very knowledgeable and made sure to find wildlife to show us. Would highly recommend.
