• Customer-requested cancellations made at least 6 days prior to travel will receive a refund of 95% of the total booking amount. The remaining 5% will be retained as a non-refundable administration and booking fee. Cancellations made within 5 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including no-shows.
• Should supplier be required to cancel or the operation of the tour for any reason, including on the rare occasions due to inclement weather, an alternative date or itinerary will be offered to the passenger. If the alternative date or itinerary cannot be arranged or agreed upon, a full refund will be authorised. If the passenger accepts the alternative date or itinerary, no refunds will be issued.

This is a full day from Cairns. CBD pickups are generally around 7.00–7.15am, with return around 6.30pm. Northern Beaches pickups are around 7.20–7.45am, returning around 6.00pm, while Port Douglas pickups are around 8.20am with return around 4.00–4.30pm. All times are approximate and vary by pickup location.

Transfers are available from selected accommodation in Cairns, the Northern Beaches and Port Douglas. If you’re staying in Southside Cairns, you’ll need to join the tour at 287 Draper Street in Parramatta Park, as accommodation pickup isn’t available from that area.

The guided rainforest boardwalk is approximately one kilometre return and follows a relaxed pace, so a beginner level of fitness is generally enough. Some stops have steps or uneven ground, and guests need to be able to walk independently or with help from their own carer.

Yes. Children aged four and over can join, and the changing scenery keeps the day interesting for nature-loving families. Wildlife spotting, short rainforest walks, Cape Tribulation Beach, the chance to swim and tropical fruit ice cream all bring plenty of variety. Children under four can’t join this shared tour.

Yes. When conditions are suitable, there may be time to cool off in a freshwater rainforest creek. Swimming is optional, so you can also relax and enjoy the setting from the shore. Bring swimwear and a towel if you’d like to get in.

The Daintree River cruise offers a good opportunity to spot estuarine crocodiles and colourful birdlife. Along the rainforest walks, keep watch for butterflies, frogs, reptiles and perhaps even a southern cassowary. Wildlife moves freely through the Daintree, so every day brings its own discoveries.
