Set out on an unforgettable adventure on the Adelaide River, home to one of the world’s largest populations of saltwater crocodiles. From the safety of a purpose-built boat, watch in awe as these prehistoric giants launch themselves out of the water to snatch food — a thrilling display of their incredible strength and agility.
Your expert guides will provide fascinating commentary on the crocs’ biology, hunting behavior, and the importance of the river’s ecosystem. Learn how these apex predators have remained virtually unchanged since the age of dinosaurs, with some individuals reaching up to 6 metres in length and weighing close to 1,000 kilograms.
Along the way, keep an eye out for other local wildlife, including a variety of bird species and smaller reptiles that thrive in the wetlands. With trained crews ensuring the safety of both passengers and the crocodiles, this cruise offers an exhilarating yet secure way to experience the power of Australia’s most formidable predator.
