The boat river over was great. The glass bottom boat tour was a little short–could have been longer. The lunch was great and Rain Forest was easily trailed out so that we could tour at our own pace.
Our day in Fitzroy island was amazing! I was hoping for some turtle sightings for my birthday, but alas, they had disappeared for the day. Snorkelling around, I felt as though I was a part of an aquarium with how many fish there were! Our boat was late getting back to us, and I wish there had been a bit more communication on how late it was running, therefore we would’ve spent more time in the water, or gone on a walk to the other beach. But being stuck on the island for a bit longer gave us some pretty amazing sunset views. I would 100% do this tour again if I had time.
Great Tour! Really nice Crew on board and on the Island, everything well organized. We were really lucky with the wildlife and I saw whales and turtles. Stunning beautiful Island and amazing for snorkeling! Lunch was really good as well, the guide on the glassbottomboat was able to find the animals and told us a lot about them. Only the snorkeling gear wasn’t so good, was used to better ones from other tours. But all in all an unforgetable day 🙂
