Embark on a beginner-friendly scuba diving experience at Wave Break Island on the Gold Coast—no license or experience required. Make your own way to the dive shop, where you’ll check in before heading to Marina Mirage to board the dive boat. After a short 20-minute ride, you’ll reach the calm, clear waters of Wave Break Island. Here, a certified PADI instructor will guide you through basic safety and breathing techniques in shallow waters before your dive begins. Swim alongside vibrant tropical fish and even hand-feed them during your underwater adventure. After surfacing, you’ll have the option to snorkel or simply relax onboard with light refreshments. It’s a perfect introduction to scuba diving in one of Australia’s best marine environments.
The instructor explained everything in detail and taught us various hand signals to use underwater. Overall, it was a great experience.
My son and I had a great time. Our instructor was very good and very patient with me. Unfortunately the sea was not as clear on the day and was only able to see one type of fish. Overall, we were very well looked after and it was a lovely few hours to be out in the sea.
Very good, great bunch of guys and girls running the show. Easily managed…definitely come back again… thanks guys for a splendid morning snorkel. Highly recommend to anyone. 👍
We loved the snorkelling. It was not an overcrowded boat, which allowed us to enjoy looking at the fish underwater (instead of multiple people). The fish feeding was a lot of fun and allowed for great underwater photo opportunities. The scuba/snorkelling team were fabulous and very attentive to all our needs. Would do this tour again.
