Start your surfing adventure with a quick check-in at the trailer located near the Gold Coast beach. Gear up with your provided rash shirt or wetsuit and grab your beginner-friendly soft surfboard. Then follow your instructor as you walk onto the beach to begin your lesson.
The session kicks off with a safety briefing and basic surf instruction. You’ll first enter waist-deep water to catch a few small waves with assistance from your instructor. After this warm-up, return to the beach for some dry-land instruction on how to stand up on your board.
The second half of the lesson is back in the water, where your instructor will help you catch waves and practice standing up. Most guests make great progress by the end of the 2-hour session. Afterward, return your gear to the trailer and rinse off the salt and sand with the provided showers. If you’re still full of energy, you can continue surfing by either joining another lesson or renting the equipment.

Cal was a fantastic guide who really made the activity interesting and fun. The instructions were really clear and he helped every one of us when we got out into the surf. One of my daughters picked it up really quickly and, by following Cal’s instructions, she was stating on the board really quickly on her first surfing experience. Highly recommended
