Meet your instructor at the designated Surfers Paradise location 20 minutes before your lesson. After suiting up in a wetsuit or rash shirt and selecting your ideal board, you’ll step onto the golden sands of this world-renowned beach.
Begin with a safety briefing and a quick rundown of surfing basics. Then, head into waist-deep water to catch your first waves, feeling the ocean energy beneath you. After your initial attempts, head back to shore for a land-based technique session focused on standing up on the board. Then it’s back into the water to test your new skills with your instructor right beside you.
The experience is designed for beginners, and many guests stand up on their very first lesson. Whether you manage it or not, expect lots of laughs, splashes, and a serious adrenaline rush.
