Please keep at least half a day free and avoid scheduling anything tight afterwards. Check-in through landing may take around an hour when everything runs smoothly, but weather, air traffic and group sequencing can extend the day. If you choose Melbourne transfers, the return vehicle leaves after all transferred guests have completed their jumps.

Light showers or scattered cloud may still allow the jump to go ahead, while strong wind, heavy rain or low cloud can cause a delay or reschedule. Weather decisions are made on the day using the actual conditions, and you’ll be notified if your time changes. If conditions prevent the jump, it can be moved to another suitable date.

If your booking includes transfers, meet at 17 Normanby Road, Southbank, near Clarendon Street Junction and Tram Stop 125. Please be ready by 7:50 am for the 8:00 am pickup. The return vehicle leaves once all transferred guests have completed their jumps, so keep the rest of the day flexible.

You must be at least 16 years old, and anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at the drop zone to complete the consent forms. The maximum weight is 110 kg, and everyone is weighed at check-in. From 94 kg, an instructor assessment and additional surcharge may apply.

Absolutely—no previous experience or training is needed. You’ll receive a straightforward safety briefing and remain attached to an experienced tandem instructor who handles the technical side of the jump. Many first-time guests find the nerves ease once they meet their instructor, with the rush of freefall followed by a calm five-to-seven-minute parachute ride.

Photos and videos aren’t included, but a personal media package can be added online or at the drop zone. Packages are purchased per person, and personal cameras, GoPros and camera-equipped smart glasses can’t be taken on the jump. Your download link normally arrives shortly afterwards, although the complete package may take 24–48 hours to finish uploading.

Wear comfortable casual clothes in layers with fully enclosed running or sports shoes. It can feel very cold at altitude, especially in winter, so warm layers and gloves are a good idea. Prescription glasses and contact lenses are fine—goggles can fit over them, and you should let your instructor know if you’re wearing contacts.

The team will do its best to place friends together, but the final aircraft grouping depends on weight, balance, instructor availability and safety requirements. Larger groups may therefore be divided between different loads. Friends waiting at Barwon Heads Airport can watch the landing area from the picnic benches.
