Tour options: Depart Cairns at 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM, with return from Green Island at 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM.

• Customer-requested cancellations made at least 6 days prior to travel will receive a refund of 95% of the total booking amount. The remaining 5% will be retained as a non-refundable administration and booking fee. Cancellations made within 5 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including no-shows.

Choose snorkelling if you’re comfortable in the water and want the freedom to explore the reef from the beach at your own pace. The included hire covers a mask, snorkel and fins.

The glass-bottom boat is a great choice if you’d rather stay dry. The trip lasts around 30 minutes and includes commentary about the coral and marine life below. This tour includes one of these two activities, so choose the option that best suits your group.

Absolutely. The glass-bottom boat lets you see coral gardens and tropical marine life without entering the water. You can also explore the rainforest boardwalk, relax on the beach, enjoy the island swimming pool or add another dry activity.

Yes. The approximately 45-minute catamaran crossing, glass-bottom boat option, sandy beach, swimming pool and easy rainforest boardwalk make Green Island a family-friendly day out.

Young children can enjoy the beach and shallow water while older children may like snorkelling or the glass-bottom boat. Children should remain under adult supervision, and buoyancy vests are available for hire on the island.

The included snorkelling equipment consists of a mask, snorkel and fins. Lycra suits and buoyancy vests can be hired from the Dive Shop on Green Island. Lycra suits provide sun protection and help reduce exposure to seasonal marine stingers.

Prescription masks are also available in limited numbers for guests who need them.

Lunch is not included, but there are several places to purchase meals, snacks and drinks on the island. Options usually include restaurant dining, burgers, fish and chips, salads, sandwiches, coffee, ice cream and refreshments from the pool bar.

Yes. Coin and card-operated lockers are available for hire and can be opened multiple times during the rental period. The island also has toilets, freshwater showers and a swimming pool available for day visitors.
