Jervis Bay is home to a resident population of bottlenose dolphins, and the 1.5-hour cruise gives you a great opportunity to look for them across the clear waters of the marine park. You may see them surfacing near the boat, travelling in a pod or playing farther across the bay. They are wild animals, so every cruise brings a different encounter.

You’ll spend around 1.5 hours on the water. That gives the crew time to explore the dolphins’ regular habitat while you enjoy the white-sand coastline from the boat. The cruise is included in this tour.

Lunch isn’t included, giving you the freedom to choose from the cafés and takeaway options during your free time in Huskisson. The morning coffee and breakfast stop is also at your own expense.

Jervis Bay is roughly a three-hour drive south of Sydney, so this is a proper full-day escape. The tour leaves Sydney at around 7am and includes a short coffee and breakfast stop on the way, with all return transport organised for you.

The day includes a guided coastal walk around the white-sand beaches, plus some walking in Booderee National Park while looking for wildlife. It’s manageable for most travellers, though you should expect natural surfaces and a few short inclines. Comfortable walking shoes will make the day more enjoyable.
