The start of our day was the Amphibious Army Duck tour. It was fun and , surprisingly , informative in relation to the biological fauna and flora. We were privileged to learn how to correctly use a boomerang ; having earlier experienced the didgeridoo and spear demonstrations and the Pamagirri Dance Show performance from the indigenous troupe. Very enjoyable and entertaining. The lunch buffet was pleasant and plentiful. All the staff were welcoming , friendly and helpful for our every need. The transfer to/from Kuranda Village and Cairns was professionally completed safely and courteously by the coach driver. A thoroughly enjoyable day, thanks.

I really appreciated the opportunity to get in touch with the local Aboriginal culture. The wildlife park has a small zoo and the duck boat tour shows you part of the rainforest. Our tour guide Shon was very engaging, explaining the names of many plants and how they were used by the local population.
