Discover the highlights of Western Australia’s Margaret River region on this full-day coach tour. Departing from Perth, your first stop is the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, where you can enjoy morning tea at your own expense.
Continue to one of the region’s oldest breweries for a hearty lunch paired with craft beer and cider, before sampling some of Margaret River’s famous wines and learning more about local wine production. There will also be an opportunity to purchase your favorite bottles.
In the afternoon, explore the region’s natural wonders. Take a guided tour of Mammoth Cave, filled with fascinating limestone formations, and drive through the beautiful Boranup Forest. The journey continues south to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Australia’s most southwesterly point, where the Indian and Southern Oceans dramatically meet.
Finally, enjoy a short stop in the township of Margaret River to stroll the main street before heading back to Perth, arriving in the evening after a day full of scenery, wine, and discovery.
Long day, lots covered , lots of memories had. Well organised , packs in a lot of key must see places in West Australias South West Marg’s, Augusta Busselton areas. Beautiful scenery & lovely lunch included at local Winery/Brewery.
A fantastic way to get a taste of the area when you’re short on time. It was a long day but totally worth it and we had a great variety of experiences. Chris was our guide and he kept us informed and entertained during the long drives but also gave us time to rest and just look at the scenery. Everything was very well organised and timed to perfection. Coach was very comfortable. Wines and beer and pizza included were all top quality. Thanks for a great day!
More time at certain places would have been better
The coach for this trip looked nice , clean and classy. The guide provided interesting commentaries along the way and was very helpful.We had stops at Busselton Foreshore, Cheeky Monkey, Mammoth Cave, Cape Leuwin. Every stop was worth it! I highly recommend this trip.
