Please wait at the corner of Flinders & Market Streets, next to the Immigration Museum. Please do not wait at the front entry of the Museum. Your guide will park the bus on the Market St side of the Immigration museum and come to meet you in person.

This tour uses one convenient central meeting point rather than hotel pickups. Meet at the corner of Flinders and Market Streets, beside the Immigration Museum at 400 Flinders Street. Wait on the Market Street side, not at the museum’s front entrance, and your guide will come to meet the group.

Allow around 3.5 hours. Morning departures normally return to the meeting point at about 12.30pm during AEST or 1.30pm during daylight saving. When afternoon departures are offered, they finish at around 5.45pm.

Yes. The tour mixes comfortable coach sightseeing with planned stops where you can stretch your legs and see key places more closely, including Hosier Lane, the Shrine of Remembrance, the MCG precinct, St Patrick’s Cathedral and Fitzroy Gardens. Other landmarks are viewed from the vehicle while your guide connects the stories between stops.

Walking is light and broken into short visits at the main stops, so the tour is a good way to cover more of Melbourne without spending hours on foot. Comfortable shoes are still worthwhile, and you need to be able to step on and off the touring vehicle.
