Snorkelling was quite good, except for too many people there. Of course, this place is unique, so there is a big demand, and the demand obviously spoils the experience. However, in those conditions, it could not have been done better.
Your adventure begins at the Brisbane wharf, where staff will confirm the day’s schedule. Board a scenic boat ride across Moreton Bay, with a complimentary beverage provided either on the way there or on your return journey. After a 75-minute cruise, you’ll arrive at the natural beauty of Moreton Island.
The highlight of your day is a guided snorkelling tour at the Tangalooma Wrecks — one of Australia’s most renowned snorkelling spots. Explore a vibrant underwater world filled with reef fish, colourful coral formations, and other fascinating marine life.
During your visit, you’ll have full access to Tangalooma Resort facilities, including swimming pools, restaurants, bars, and sandy beaches. At 3:15 PM, visit the Eco Centre to attend the Discover the World of Dolphins presentation and learn more about these iconic marine mammals.
In the afternoon, return to the jetty for a 4:00 PM departure. After a relaxing 75-minute cruise, you’ll arrive back at Brisbane wharf around 5:15 PM, ending a day filled with marine adventures, resort leisure, and island beauty.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, saw plenty of fish and our guide did a good job of providing information about the wrecks and the marine life. Would have liked a little longer to snorkel and explore before getting back on the boat.
I went snorkeling with my granddaughter. We both lived it. It was a great day.
Nice trip, the snorkeling guide could have been a little more proactive – however I can’t complain since the trip all in all was amazing.
Very good activity! Snorkelling was amazing and really easy once you were used to it! Staff were great, highly recommend! Island is beautiful- would recommend staying later and seeing the sunset and dolphins coming in!
Great friendly guides, saw lots of fish and even a turtle or 2, loved the experience just wished snorkelling time was longer.
