• Customer-requested cancellations made at least 6 days prior to travel will receive a refund of 95% of the total booking amount. The remaining 5% will be retained as a non-refundable administration and booking fee. Cancellations made within 5 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including no-shows.
• Should supplier be required to cancel or the operation of the tour for any reason, including on the rare occasions due to inclement weather, an alternative date or itinerary will be offered to the passenger. If the alternative date or itinerary cannot be arranged or agreed upon, a full refund will be authorised. If the passenger accepts the alternative date or itinerary, no refunds will be issued.

There is a walking option for different energy levels. The track to Russell Falls is the easiest choice, while you can continue to Horseshoe Falls and the Tall Trees Track if you would like to see more. Fit and active guests can complete the full 6km Three Falls Circuit to Lady Barron Falls, which includes stairs and a longer section of walking.

Your sanctuary entry and an informative keeper-led tour are included. You will have the chance to see Tasmanian devils, wombats, kangaroos and other native animals, hear the stories behind their rescue and conservation, and hand-feed the Forester kangaroos with food provided at the sanctuary.

Yes. It is a rewarding choice for families with children aged 8 and over who enjoy wildlife, waterfalls and time outdoors. Children should have good mobility and enough stamina for an active full day. The choice of shorter and longer walks at Mt Field makes it easier for families to select a route that suits their energy level.

Lunch and drinks are not included. You can bring your own lunch, snacks and water or purchase a bakery-style takeaway lunch during the day. The lunch break is usually enjoyed in one of Mt Field National Park’s scenic picnic areas.

Pickup and drop-off from selected Hobart hotels are included. Pickups normally take place between approximately 7.00am and 7.30am, depending on your location. The tour departs Hobart at around 7.30am and returns at approximately 5.30pm.

Wear supportive walking shoes and bring warm layers and a weatherproof jacket. Conditions at Mt Field and kunanyi/Mt Wellington can feel much cooler than central Hobart, even when the city is mild. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, a large water bottle, lunch or snacks, and a small day bag.
