The tour normally runs on Mondays, departing Adelaide Central Bus Station at 9:15 am and returning at about 5:15 pm. Selected Adelaide CBD hotel pickups are earlier, with evening set-downs available at selected hotels. It doesn’t operate on Christmas Day or Australia Day.

The river cruise lasts about two hours within an eight-hour day tour. The rest of the day includes coach travel, time in Mannum and scenic stops on the return through the Adelaide Hills.

A two-course lunch is served during the cruise, with water, tea and coffee included. Other drinks can be purchased at the bar, while afternoon tea later in the day is at your own expense.

No. The river vessel has no lift, and reaching the lunch room involves steep stairs with handrails, so the tour isn’t wheelchair accessible. Staff can assist on the steps if needed, but you must be able to manage the stairs.

This full-day experience isn’t recommended for children. It combines several hours of coach travel with a leisurely lunch cruise and sightseeing stops, so it generally suits adults better than younger travellers.
