Discover the natural beauty and cultural heritage of North Stradbroke Island on a full-day guided tour from Brisbane. Start with a scenic 45-minute drive to the ferry terminal, then enjoy a smooth ferry crossing with the option to purchase breakfast on board.
On arrival, your first stop is Brown Lake, where you can refresh in its tea-tree stained waters and learn about the cultural significance of the Quandamooka people. Continue with a quick visit to Myora Springs before reaching Cylinder Beach for a relaxing walk or a swim.
The highlight of the day is the Gorge Walk — a 40 to 45-minute coastal trail offering breathtaking views of the Coral Sea and the chance to spot manta rays, dolphins, turtles, and other marine life. After the walk, take a break for lunch at Point Lookout before heading to Amity Point, where your guide will help you search for koalas in the wild.
Your adventure concludes with a ferry ride back to the mainland, with expected arrival in Brisbane around 7 PM. With stunning landscapes, wildlife encounters, and cultural insights, this tour offers a complete Stradbroke Island experience.
This trip was excellent, North Stradbroke Island is a beautiful place with abundant wildlife everywhere. Our guide Rio made the trip one to remember. He was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to help everyone. He kept the group entertained on the bus with his enthusiasm and positivity about the island.
The whole tour went like clockwork and exactly what I expected. Charming and relaxing. We saw most wildlife and the natural coastal landscape was very beautiful. Thank you Rob for showing us Straddie.

Bob was the perfect tour guide. He guided us through the day in an amazingly friendly and professional manner. He helped us spot wild kangaroos and koala, dolphins and whales and a whole host of birds. He was knowledgeable about the local area, telling us the best places to get coffee and lunch and he even drove us around to buy rain ponchos when some of us were not equipped for the torrential rain! Thank you Bob for a truly incredible trip.
