This overnight camping adventure combines Uluru and Kata Tjuta’s most iconic experiences into two unforgettable days.
Pick up from Yulara or Uluru Airport and head to your first stop, Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), where you can explore the broad valleys and winding chasms on foot during a guided hike. As the evening unfolds, enjoy a light snack as the sun slowly sets, casting various earthy tones across Uluru. The perfect end to a remarkable day awaits you back at camp as you enjoy a delicious spread of food with your group. If the weather permits, sit outside under the stars.
The following day, it’s off to Uluru to see what all the hype’s about. An early start this morning is rewarded with an Uluru sunrise as the sun hits the icon like a beacon before the light floods the surrounding landscape. Your guide will take you to one of the significant cultural sights of Uluru, outlining Anangu rock art and passing on one of the site’s creation stories. While the morning is fresh, the time is yours to enjoy the self-guided, full base walk of Uluru.
Be sure that outbound flights are booked for after 12:30.
Excellent knowledge of the area … great experience under canvas even if it was in minus figures
This tour was excellent, and thanks to it, I had an unforgettable visit to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. My only regret was that I didn’t plan to stay longer! Hats off to our superwoman guide, Sophie! I am grateful to her for driving the van, managing the camp, setting up the meals and snacks, and just keeping us all informed and on schedule. She was also extremely knowledgeable about Uluru and aboriginal culture and briefed us on how to be respectful of the sites.

I had the pleasure to be guided by Lorrie and Tye in this fantastic tour.
The experience was just awesome! Lorrie is a fantastic guide and is super nice, has always lots of fun facts and details for you. Tye was also there and helped making the atmosphere even funnier and nicer.
Just returned from an amazing trip to Uluru. The scenery was spectacular and I loved the tour experience. Hunter was an exceptional guide. His outgoing friendly personality, enthusiasm and respect for others was evident from the outset. Hunter’s knowledge of local culture, geographical information and passion for history, delivered in an engaging and humorous way, were highlights of the trip. Everything was well organised and facilities and meals were excellent.
