No. This experience starts and finishes at Cowes Jetty on Phillip Island, so you’ll need to make your own way there. It’s a handy two-hour option if you’re already staying on or visiting the island.

Check in at the white domed-roof ticket office at Cowes Jetty, 11–13 The Esplanade, with boarding at the end of the jetty. Aim to arrive 30 minutes before departure; boarding begins 15 minutes before the cruise leaves.

The cruise heads into open water, so the ride can feel choppy when there’s wind or swell. If you’re prone to motion sickness, taking your usual preventative tablet before departure can make the trip much more comfortable—ask a pharmacist if you’re unsure which option suits you.

Yes—infants and children can join, and little ones often love the seals and onboard activities. Infants must be included in your booking and all children need adult supervision; the front deck is only available to guests over 1 metre tall.

The boat visits Seal Rocks, home to thousands of Australian fur seals, and normally drifts within metres of the colony. Around 5,000 or more seals are commonly seen, with curious seals often swimming near the boat, though their behaviour naturally varies.
