Enjoy a relaxed and scenic day exploring Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula with a friendly local driver. On the way down, you’ll stop at Pirates Bay Lookout for classic coastal views, visit the Dog Line monument at Eaglehawk Neck, and enjoy two local favourites—the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry and the Port Arthur Lavender Farm.
At the Port Arthur Historic Site, your ticket includes entry plus a 20-minute harbour cruise. You’ll have up to four hours to explore the grounds, walk through the preserved buildings, and learn about the area’s convict history at your own pace.
After about three hours, those who’d like to see a bit more can join an optional side trip to Remarkable Cave. The dramatic cliffs and wide ocean views make it a rewarding short visit. Everyone meets back at the historic site at 4pm before returning to Hobart.

was a very informative trip to Port Arthur. our tour guide Mark was so knowledgeable & really interacted with everyone of our group.
visiting other sites as in itinerary. good explanations given at all stops.
driver was very informative on time and friendly, only thing was that the bus went to a different pickup place than the advised one and we nearly missed it
Great day!! Tour guide Skye was fun to be with, knowledgeable and a good driver. 3 hours at the Port Arthur site is just a bit short.
The day was exceptional with wonderful stops. Our driver Mark was very informative and knew a lot about the area and the history of Tassie. He was also very funny and engaging.
