• Customer-requested cancellations made at least 6 days prior to travel will receive a refund of 95% of the total booking amount. The remaining 5% will be retained as a non-refundable administration and booking fee. Cancellations made within 5 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including no-shows.
• Should supplier be required to cancel or the operation of the tour for any reason, including on the rare occasions due to inclement weather, an alternative date or itinerary will be offered to the passenger. If the alternative date or itinerary cannot be arranged or agreed upon, a full refund will be authorised. If the passenger accepts the alternative date or itinerary, no refunds will be issued.

Absolutely. You can see the reef without entering the water by joining the included semi-submersible tour or visiting the underwater observatory. Both offer close-up views of the coral and marine life, with commentary during the semi-submersible journey. If you would like to try the water, buoyancy vests are available and the snorkelling platform provides easy access at water level.

Yes. The reef platform makes it easy for first-time and less-confident snorkellers to get started. Snorkelling equipment, instruction, qualified supervision and buoyancy vests are included. Bench seating at water level lets you put on your mask and fins before entering, while flotation aids provide extra support in the water.

Yes. The spacious catamaran and reef platform are pram-friendly, with ramped areas and plenty of room for families. Child-sized masks, snorkels, fins and lycra suits are available, while the semi-submersible and underwater observatory give children another way to discover the reef. Children must remain under responsible adult supervision throughout the day.

The platform has plenty of space to settle in between activities, with more than two-thirds of the area shaded. Facilities include undercover tables and seating, change rooms, freshwater showers, a buffet area and a sundeck. Toilets and air-conditioned seating are available aboard the catamaran alongside the platform.

Free prescription snorkelling masks are available in strengths from -2 to -8. Ask the safety supervisors at the snorkelling platform when collecting your equipment. Regular glasses cannot be worn underneath a snorkelling mask, and contact lenses are not recommended because water may enter the mask.

The wave-piercing catamaran is designed to provide a comfortable journey to the Outer Reef, but the crossing takes around 90 minutes each way and sea conditions can vary. If you are prone to motion sickness, it is worth preparing before the boat leaves the marina. Motion-sickness medication is available to purchase on board, and complimentary ginger tablets are also offered.

The main catamarans and reef platform provide ramp access, and the primary vessels have an accessible toilet. Access to the semi-submersible, underwater observatory and standard snorkelling platforms requires stairs. A water-access lift is available at the Agincourt 3 platform for guests weighing up to 90 kilograms, although the vessel and platform used can occasionally change.
