First and foremost we felt this trip was incredibly professional with safety and comfort a priority. We were well kitted out with everything we might need for our rainy twilight summit climb. Everything has to be attached so we had clear instructions and support to do this. You cannot take anything with you other than glasses (they supply a lanyard) and medication (which the guide carries). Our guide was excellent, with a great sense of humour and as a nervous participant he really put my mind at ease. With a fear of high edges I had been apprehensive but apart from a couple of points I generally felt confident throughout – the 4 ladders were mainly enclosed and the incline on the arch was so wide and with railings that I felt so safe. The views were amazing even in the rain and watching g the lights coming on in the city was spectacular. Definitely one to remember.
Our guide, Fin, was fabulous- loved her! She gave a lot of good background info and took great pictures for us. The company has a great system down for make sure everyone is safe during the climb. The whole experience was so smooth.
Absolutely epic experience. Our guide and all the other support staff were outstanding. Such a ‘beyond words’ moment to watch the sunset from the top of the bridge. 100% recommend as the best way to see this city.
