Getting splashed is part of the fun, and some rides can leave you properly soaked even with the poncho provided. Wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes that you don’t mind getting wet, and bring a change of clothes if you have plans afterwards. If you prefer less spray, ask the team about a drier seat when you check in, though every ride is different.

Every passenger must be at least 120 cm tall and able to reach the handrails and hold on firmly. The experience is generally suggested for children aged five and over, and anyone under 18 needs a responsible adult to sign the participation form on their behalf. Families who meet these requirements can enjoy the adventure together.

Allow about one hour from check-in to finish. The ride itself is approximately 30 minutes, and you need to arrive 30 minutes before departure for check-in, safety preparation and boarding. Arriving on time means you can get ready without rushing.

You may take a camera at your own risk, but there’s a very good chance it will get wet during the spins and spray. Complimentary secure lockers are available at the wharf for valuables and non-waterproof items. For a worry-free ride, storing your phone and camera is the safest choice.

This fast-paced ride isn’t suitable during pregnancy or for guests with back, neck or heart conditions, recent injuries, or another condition that could be aggravated by sudden spins and stops. You need to be able to reach the handrails, hold on firmly and follow the crew’s safety directions. If a medical condition may affect your participation, check with your doctor before booking.

Many first-time riders find the experience exciting rather than overwhelming once it gets underway. You’ll be fitted with a life jacket and briefed before the skipper launches into the spins, fishtails and power stops. It’s still a genuine high-speed ride, so it’s best for guests who are comfortable with sudden movement and plenty of spray.
