No experience is needed. You’ll receive a safety briefing and be securely attached to a professional tandem instructor who handles the technical side of the jump. You simply follow the body-position and landing instructions, then enjoy up to 60 seconds of freefall and a 5–7 minute canopy ride.

Self-drive guests usually complete the experience in about two hours, but should keep up to four hours free in case weather, air traffic or operations cause delays. If you choose the Sydney transfer, keep the full day clear because the vehicle returns only after every transfer passenger has completed their jump.

Skydiving is weather-dependent, and the final decision is made on the day rather than from an earlier forecast alone. If wind, rain or cloud prevents your jump, you’ll be offered another date. If an alternative can’t be arranged or agreed, the existing booking policy provides a full refund.

Photos and videos aren’t included, but a Handicam package can be added online or purchased at the drop zone on the day. Tandem guests can’t take phones, GoPros or camera-equipped glasses on the aircraft or during the jump. Your instructor’s camera is the safe way to capture the experience.

The minimum age is 16, and anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian who can complete the consent forms. Everyone is weighed at check-in, and surcharges apply from 94 kg including clothing and shoes. Final participation depends on the Tandem Master’s safety and harness assessment.

Wear comfortable, flexible clothes and fully enclosed shoes such as runners or sports trainers. In cooler weather, add warm layers because it can feel chilly at altitude. Prescription glasses and contact lenses are fine, with larger goggles available to fit over most glasses.

You’ll usually land back at the drop zone, making it easy for friends or family to watch the experience from gear-up to touchdown. When weather conditions make another location safer, the landing may move to Blacksmiths Beach. The final landing area is chosen on the day.

No. Leave at least 24 hours between scuba diving and your scheduled skydive because of the change in altitude and pressure. Plan the two activities on separate days so you arrive ready to jump.
