No experience is needed. You’ll receive a clear safety briefing and be securely attached to a professional tandem instructor who handles the technical side of the jump. Follow the simple body-position and landing instructions, then enjoy up to 60 seconds of freefall and around 5–7 minutes under the canopy.

Most jumps are completed within 3–4 hours, but it’s best to keep the full day free because weather, air traffic and daily operations can cause delays. If you choose the Sydney return transfer, allow for the group schedule and possible downtime after your jump before the coach returns.

Choose the Sydney return transfer when booking, or make your own way to the drop zone at Stuart Park in North Wollongong. Transfer places must be reserved, so follow the pickup time and meeting point shown in your confirmation and arrive ready at the stated time.

The team makes the final weather call on the day because wind, rain and cloud can change quickly. If conditions aren’t suitable, your jump will be moved to another date; if no alternative can be arranged or agreed, the existing booking policy provides a full refund.

Photos and videos aren’t included, but a camera package can be added online or purchased at the drop zone. Tandem guests can’t take phones, GoPros or camera-equipped glasses on the aircraft or during the jump, so your instructor’s camera is the safe way to capture it.

The minimum age is 16, and anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian to complete the consent forms. Everyone is weighed at check-in, with surcharges applying from 94 kg including clothing and shoes. Final participation depends on the Tandem Master’s safety and harness assessment.

Wear comfortable, flexible clothes and fully enclosed shoes such as runners or sports trainers. Bring warm layers in cooler weather, as it can feel chilly at altitude. Prescription glasses and contact lenses are fine, with goggles available to fit over most glasses.

No. Leave at least 24 hours between scuba diving and your scheduled skydive because of the change in altitude and pressure. Plan the two activities on separate days so you arrive ready to jump.
