What to expect

Set out on an unforgettable cruise along the wild coastline of Tasman National Park. Glide beneath Cape Pillar’s towering sea cliffs, the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere, and marvel at waterfalls, dramatic archways, and hidden sea caves carved by the ocean. Your vessel is designed with covered, open-air tiered seating, offering uninterrupted views and a true connection with the marine environment.

This region teems with wildlife. Watch fur seals basking on the rocks, spot pods of dolphins surfing the bow waves, and during migration season, witness majestic whales passing by. Above, the skies are alive with seabirds — from gannets diving in feeding frenzies to soaring albatross, sea eagles, and cliff-nesting peregrine falcons. Every moment promises a spectacular encounter with Tasmania’s raw coastal wilderness.

We loved this tour! It was so much fun, despite being super cold. We saw lots of seals and albatross. Would definitely do it again!

I’ve done this cruise twice now. It’s one of my favourite Tassie activities. Each experience was different as the ocean conditions/weather dictate where the boats can go. Can not recommend this highly enough. The price is well worth the experience.. When they say layer up, they mean it, it’s freezing on the boat & depending on where you sit, you can be sprayed with water. Both times I’ve gone in the month of June & I’ve seen whales, dolphins & seals. We were lucky enough to see some risk taking fisherman who had descended down a massive cliff edge for salmon fishing. Staff are wonderful and really put a lot of effort into ensuring they optimise the animal encounter experience & will ensure that they turn the boat around for all sightseers to experience.

A Fantastic Experience!!! Wow what an absolute highlight of our weekend in TAS! Would totally recommend this 3-hour tour of Tasmania’s stunning coastline – it is a must do. The scenery was spectacular, the staff were extremely knowledgeable and professional who are passionate about what they do. We saw dolphins, Albatross, short-tailed shearwater birds and plenty of seals. Andrew & Lochie were amazing hosts! Thank you so much for memories to last a lifetime.

We loved how we were able to see wildlife such as pup seals and dolphins as well as the amazing scenery. it was difficult to hear the commentary up the front so a microphone would help with that!

This was an outstanding tour. I was able to see whales, dolphins, and so many seals. The landscape is also absolutely fantastic. The boat was also wonderful … It was close to the water so it made the tour really down to earth and a little more personal than those big ferries you get on other tours. I highly recommend this your if you are down in Port Arthur.
