This full-day Pinnacles Desert adventure begins with a convenient pickup from Perth CBD before heading north along the spectacular Turquoise Coast. Keep an eye out for native wildlife such as kangaroos and emus as you travel. Your first stop is Lancelin, where you’ll enjoy a break before trying the thrill of sandboarding down massive white dunes.
Continue to Nilgen Lookout to admire seasonal wildflowers (springtime only) and sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. Depending on timing, you may also stroll along Hangover Bay, where native plants were once used by Aboriginal people for food and medicine.
The highlight of your journey awaits in the Pinnacles Desert. Here, enjoy a memorable dinner under the fading sun, with a glass of Western Australian wine, tea, or coffee. As night falls, join a guided astronomy experience using binoculars and telescopes to view planets, stars, galaxies, and more in the pristine desert skies. After stargazing, relax as your guide returns you safely to Perth.

It was a perfect blend of activities…sand boarding and the other-worldly magic of the Pinnacles. The sunset there was gorgeous. Dark-sky star gazing was amazing, with the knowledgeable crew pointing out and telling stories about specific stars, planets and constellations. Thanks for a great day!
