I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about riding a camel, but the team clearly cared about the animals and made sure everything felt safe and respectful. Super chilled and surprisingly peaceful. The desert’s so quiet in the morning and seeing Uluru in that soft light was beautiful. Camels were way more relaxed than I thought they’d be.
Riding a camel through the desert with Uluru in the background was honestly one of the weirdest and coolest things I’ve done in Australia. The staff were super friendly, gave us a quick how-to before hopping on, and the camels were way calmer than I expected.
