Had a great time yesterday on hop on hop off tours. Darren was out tour guide. He was very friendly and funny. The walk was beautiful and the sunset of the Olga’s was stunning. It’s amazing the colour change in the rocks. Highly recommend. Remember to pack good walking shoes as the terrain is quite uneven!
We booked a three day park pass and the sunrise bus to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. On day one our coach captain was Sonia who drove us out to Uluru. She was very helpful with great advice on where to go and times for the various walks. She was very diplomatic in explaining areas where photography is not permitted for cultural reasons. The hop on hop off service meant that if desired you can move around the “Rock” in stages to get to particular points.
On day two we were delighted to find Sonia was driving us to Kata Tjuta where once again we got very helpful advice on the different walks available. Note that this is not a hop on/hop off service.
Both Uluru and Kata Tjuta are spectacular and definitely worth getting up early to see sunrise at. We decided for our third day to spend a bit more time at the Cultural Centre and Mutitjulu waterhole. Once again we were impressed by Sonia’s professional demeanor, excellent driving and local knowledge.
A great and affordable service for those without a hire car to experience the magnificent Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park. Buses depart from/return to Uluru Ayres Rock resort at several times throughout the day including sunrise and sunset. Timely and friendly drivers who do a wonderful and safe job of transporting their passengers in and out every day
Having just returned from Uluru we purchased the 2 day Hop on Hop off package. We were incredibly impressed with this service and utilised the service for the sunrise and subset for Uluru and sunrise at katatjuta. Simple and easy to use, met with with excellent service from both Sonia and Chris. We would highly recommend this company! Thanks for a great few days !
A terrific few days with Hop on Hop off at Uluṟu and Kata Tjuta. The drivers were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly – thanks to the drivers Snakebite and Anthony, and to Sharon in the office. They were always on time and very responsive to emails and phone calls. Would recommend this option of transportation into the national park from the resort! 😊
Loved the Uluru hop on hop off service. It allowed us to go at our own pace. Anthony is great value. He was super helpful and entertained our little one in between stops.
