This tour combines Segway adventure with cultural discovery around Uluru’s most fascinating sites. Begin with a guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole, where you’ll hear stories tied to Aboriginal traditions and see ancient rock art. Your guide will then provide Segway training before you set off to ride the most scenic section of Uluru’s base for around 1-1.5 hours.
Gliding quietly beneath the towering cliffs, you’ll learn about the geology, native plants, and Anangu culture that make Uluru so unique. The tour was excellent. It was a good mix of activities with the Segway and walking tours. Segway was good fun and easy to get the hang of. Brittany our guide was brilliant. She was very knowledgeable and her enthusiasm for the topic really brought the stories and information to life.
Emily was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about the local indigenous stories and history of the area. She was also a very patient instructor in the use of the segways. Great fun and you don’t have to be a youngster to do it. I’m 62 and had no problems!
