Begin in darkness as your guide explains the inspiration behind the work, then wander along pathways surrounded by 50,000 illuminated glass spheres glowing softly in the desert night.
After exploring the installation, climb to the Dune Top viewing area for a warming tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. From this elevated point, watch as the Red Centre awakens — Uluru glowing in shades of red and orange while Kata Tjuta comes into view behind you.

Just surreal. Very quick tour but was worth it even though we did almost freeze! Just make sure you wrap up warm. And the hot drinks provided made up for it too.

Our guide Mitch was very friendly and engaging. He had a lot of knowledge about the area. We felt safe on the bus ride in the dark. The light installation was amazing and the sunrise over Uluru and reflecting on The Olga’s was spectacular.
