A highlight of the ride is a stop at a remote lookout — a photographer’s dream — where you can capture sweeping views of Australia’s most iconic landmarks. I did this tour with a couple of friends and it was such a peaceful, cool way to start the day. The guides were super friendly and had heaps of stories about the camels and the area. It was cold in the morning so definitely bring a jumper, but the views made up for it.

Important Information

  • Children MUST be 5 years and older to ride a camel this is an insurance stipulation.
  • All guests will be required to provide their body weight in KG at the time of booking, any rider over 100kg will be required to advise their height in which it will be up to the company’s discretion to determine safety to participate.
  • Not suitable for guests with medical conditions, disabilities, limited mobility & injuries
  • All guests ride at their own risk and are required to sign a waiver before riding the camels
  • Two persons per camel.

Cancellation Policy

  • Customer-requested cancellations made at least 5 days prior to travel will receive a refund of 95% of the total booking amount. The remaining 5% will be retained as a non-refundable administration and booking fee. Cancellations made within 4 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including no-shows.
  • Should supplier be required to cancel or the operation of the tour for any reason, including on the rare occasions due to inclement weather, an alternative date or itinerary will be offered to the passenger. If the alternative date or itinerary cannot be arranged or agreed upon, a full refund will be authorised. If the passenger accepts the alternative date or itinerary, no refunds will be issued.
