What to expect

This unique Uluru adventure combines Segway riding, guided walks, and a magical sunset picnic. Begin with a 30-minute training session to learn how to ride your Segway before gliding for about an hour along the most scenic section of Uluru’s base.

Dismount and follow your guide to Mutitjulu Waterhole, a sacred site filled with natural beauty and cultural stories. Continue along the Mala Walk to discover caves decorated with ancient Aboriginal rock art, while learning about the history, culture, and geology of this remarkable landscape.

As the day draws to a close, settle at the foot of Uluru for an intimate picnic. Sip a glass of sparkling wine and enjoy light nibbles as the rock transforms in colour with the setting sun — an unforgettable way to end your day at Australia’s most iconic landmark.

Awesome tour! It was beautiful to see Uluru at sunset. The guides we had were well trained and knowledgeable about the local area and told us lots about Indigenous cultural stories and geological information. The small group size meant there was plenty of time to ask questions along the way.

All participants must:

  • Be above 12 years old
  • Weigh between 45-117kg (99-260 lbs)
  • Have the balance, vision, coordination and fitness to ride a
    bicycle
  • Be fit and healthy and free from injury/history of serious
    injury, illness and balance or vision impairments
  • Be free from drugs or alcohol.

Know before you go

  • All guests will need to bring a Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park entry ticket
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes. Participants wearing flip-flops will not be permitted to engage
  • Remember to bring a cap, sunglasses, a shirt with sleeves, and at least 1 liter of water per person
  • This tour is recommended for those aged 12-55. Children under 12 cannot participate and those above the age of 65 are discouraged from participating due to being at an increased risk in the event of a fall

Cancellation Policy

  • Customer-requested cancellations made at least 5 days prior to travel will receive a refund of 95% of the total booking amount. The remaining 5% will be retained as a non-refundable administration and booking fee. Cancellations made within 4 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including no-shows.
  • Should supplier be required to cancel or the operation of the tour for any reason, including on the rare occasions due to inclement weather, an alternative date or itinerary will be offered to the passenger. If the alternative date or itinerary cannot be arranged or agreed upon, a full refund will be authorised. If the passenger accepts the alternative date or itinerary, no refunds will be issued.
