You’ll have free time in Victor Harbor to enjoy it your way. Choose a local spot for lunch, take a relaxed town stroll, or walk across the causeway towards Granite Island. The time available can vary with the day’s itinerary, and optional paid attractions will use some of this free time.

You can choose your own lunch from Victor Harbor’s local pubs and cafés during the free-time stop. Lunch, morning tea in Strathalbyn and drinks are not included in the tour price.

You can visit Granite Island during your free time, either by walking across the causeway or buying a ticket for the horse-drawn tram. The tram fare and other optional Victor Harbor attractions are not included.

You’ll enjoy views of McLaren Vale’s rolling vineyards on the scenic return drive. A winery visit and wine tasting are not included, as the day focuses on the Fleurieu Peninsula’s historic towns and coastline.

The tour runs on Saturdays and departs at 9:15am from Adelaide Central Bus Station, with earlier pickup available from selected Adelaide CBD hotels. It returns at about 5:15pm, with set-downs at the bus station and selected CBD hotels.

Most sightseeing is reached by coach, and you can keep the walking during free-time stops fairly light. The tour is not wheelchair accessible, while the Granite Island walk is optional so you can choose a comfortable pace.
