See the Whitsundays at a more graceful pace aboard Lady Enid, a restored 1960s timber yacht with just 24 guests and four crew. This adults-only day brings together the pleasure of sailing, the swirling sands of Hill Inlet, time on Whitehaven Beach and a fringing-reef snorkel, with space to settle in and enjoy the journey between each stop.
Let the islands unfold around you from the deck as the yacht makes her way across the Whitsundays. Morning tea with fresh scones sets the tone, followed later by a generous buffet lunch, fruit and sweet treats. The small-group setting and attentive service give the day an easy, unhurried rhythm, so the sailing feels like part of the experience rather than simply the journey there.
At Tongue Bay, transfer ashore for a guided walk to Hill Inlet Lookout and take in the famous meeting of white silica sand and turquoise water below. Continue down to Whitehaven Beach, where you can swim, relax on the sand or follow the shoreline towards quieter Betty’s Beach.
The adventure continues at a selected fringing reef, where confident swimmers can slip into the water and look for colourful coral, tropical fish and other marine life. Snorkelling equipment and flotation noodles are available, while anyone who prefers to stay dry can relax aboard the yacht.
Finish the day under sail with a glass of Australian sparkling wine, accompanied by antipasto and cheese as the late-afternoon light settles over the islands. The order of Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet and snorkelling may change with the tides, wind and sea conditions.
My sister and I had a great time. The crew were fantastic and the day was so lovely touring around the islands. We weren’t lucky with the weather but that cannot be helped – it was still a great day. The journey to and from Whitehaven Beach is quite lengthy – over three hours each way – but is worth it. Communication with the company is also excellent. Thanks to all for such a lovely time. 😁
The sailing experience was beautiful, very relaxing and the crew were so friendly! The yacht is pretty and they offer a really nice catering during the tour (cheers to the sparkling wine in the sunset!). We have been lucky enough to spot whales along the way to Whitehaven beach which was a plus we were not expecting. I just wish we’ve had more time on Whitehaven/hill inlet because it’s so stunning! But definitely I will return to Whitsundays and book a tour to sail again!

Yes. Snorkelling is optional, and you are welcome to remain aboard the yacht while the snorkelling session takes place. You can still enjoy the sailing, Hill Inlet walk, Whitehaven Beach, meals and the return journey through the islands.
You should be a competent and confident swimmer in open water. Snorkelling takes place at an island reef where currents, waves and depth can vary. Masks, snorkels, flotation noodles and stinger suits are provided, but fins are not supplied. Non-swimmers should remain aboard during the snorkelling session.
A reasonable level of mobility is required. The yacht has steps, narrow walkways, ropes and uneven surfaces, and reaching the tender involves climbing down an external ladder into a small floating boat. The Hill Inlet walk follows a moderately graded track with sloped sand and dirt sections, stone steps and uneven ground.
Yes. There is a toilet below deck, accessed by steep, ladder-like steps. It is not wheelchair accessible and may be difficult to reach for guests with limited mobility.
A small selection of beer, wine and soft drinks is available to purchase by cash or card. Chilled water is supplied throughout the day, with tea and coffee served during the morning. BYO drinks are not permitted.
Most dietary requirements can be accommodated when they are provided in advance during booking. This allows the onboard meals to be prepared with the requirement in mind.
Complimentary transfers operate from selected locations between Cannonvale and Jubilee Pocket, with the assigned pickup time provided in the booking confirmation. If making your own way, meet at 7:40am outside The Garden Bar Bistro on the carpark side of Coral Sea Marina South. The yacht departs at 8:00am.
We had such an amazing time sailing around Whitsundays. The crew was super friendly and very welcoming with great food, drinks and compliments. Very good ratio between staff and members. Highly recommended.
Top tier tour and we really enjoyed it. Had a great day and the crew were really nice and helpful. Whitehaven is amazing and the snorkeling was fun. We didn’t feel rushed anywhere. It is a bit expensive compared to other boats but it’s nice to be in a smaller group and have a more dedicated crew. Would recommend.
Absolutely fantastic! Graham and the team were fabulous, the cruise was as advertised, brilliant! And it was such an awesome feeling to sail on the historic Lady Enid. We had a blast. Thank you!
It was an absolute dream day. Great Crew, I felt very welcomed and taken care of and the Lady Enid is stunning. Would highly recommend it to everyone. I enjoyed every minute of it!
It was just great and fun. Nice and competent crew, delicious food and fun to sail at least a bit. Even with rain and cloudy sky it was worth every cent!
