What to expect

Start your adventure from your Hobart accommodation and travel across Tasmania’s scenic east coast. Your first stop is Rosny Hill Lookout, offering sweeping views of Hobart, the Derwent River, and Mount Wellington. Continue through the Coal River Valley, home to some of Tasmania’s best wineries, before visiting the charming Georgian village of Richmond. Stroll across the convict-built Richmond Bridge, Australia’s oldest still in use, surrounded by tranquil countryside.

Follow the Great Eastern Drive past Buckland’s historic sandstone church and along coastal roads to Orford’s Raspins Beach for views of Maria Island. Travel through picturesque farmland and along the wild shoreline, stopping at Spiky Bridge and Spiky Beach, before reaching the Freycinet Peninsula.

Spend over four hours exploring Freycinet National Park, including the 45-minute walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout, where breathtaking views await. Visit stunning spots like Friendly Beaches, Sleepy Bay, Honeymoon Bay, and Cape Tourville Lookout, with chances to spot wildlife and marine life.

Enjoy lunch at a local winery or seafood farm before finishing the day with a sweet treat at Kate’s Berry Farm. Return to Hobart with lasting memories of Tasmania’s most spectacular coastline.

Alex is too good, the tour is designed to cover many points which all we enjoyed a lot. A limited sized group with comfortable seating. Vehicle is nice. Definitely recommended to book him for Wineglass bay…thumbs up!
