The lookout walk is a moderate 1.5-hour return walk, usually 30–40 minutes each way, with uphill sections and steps. The group takes it at a steady pace with a breather along the way, and sturdy walking shoes make it much more comfortable.

That’s fine—alternative activities are available if you’d prefer to skip the lookout walk. Your guide will help you choose a more relaxed way to enjoy the area while the group completes the hike.

Yes, you can arrange to continue from the lookout down to Wineglass Bay Beach. Let your guide know before the walk, as the extra time means you’ll miss the other Freycinet stops included in the standard itinerary.

Lunch and drinks aren’t included, but there are good chances to pick up food during the day. The early bakery stop is handy for coffee, breakfast and a picnic lunch, while Devil’s Corner offers seafood, wood-fired pizza and local wine later in the tour.
